Application Process

Thank you for your interest in our program.

Application deadline for first year positions is November 1 each year for positions that begin on July 1 the following year. To apply you must sign up and participate in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

We request three letters of reference, your dean’s letter, your transcript, and your USMLE scores, all transmitted thru ERAS. We do accept International Medical Graduates and sponsor J-1 visas only. Paper applications will not be accepted.

We consider every application. Our Program Director will review all applications individually. It is very important for your file to be as complete as possible for their review.

Best wishes and we hope to hear from you!

Recruitment for the 2024 Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship Application Cycle

The UF Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship Program is aware of the challenges that have and will continue to arise for the upcoming interview season. As an institution, under the leadership of our Graduate Medical Education (GME) office, it has been decided that all residency and fellowship programs based at UF Gainesville will only be offering virtual interviews this year. As our local situation evolves and additional recommendations are made, we will update this site with information regarding application requirements, interview dates, and whether opportunities will exist for in-person second looks. We look forward to engaging with applicants in a safe and meaningful way and embracing creative approaches to introduce applicants to the UF Division of Pediatric Nephrology, our fellowship program and the beautiful Gainesville community.
